INFORMATIONAL INVITATION LETTER
about the interuniversity student Olympiad in medical physics, dedicated to the birthday of the French scientist Poiseuille and the day of Adam University
Adam University invites local and international students to take part in the interuniversity Olympiad in medical physics, dedicated to the birthday of French physiologist and physicist, member of the French Medical Academy Jean Louis Marie Poiseuille and the day of Adam University.
The date of the Olympiad is April 22, 2023.
The Olympiad will be held in three languages: Kyrgyz, Russian and English.
The official opening of the Interuniversity Student Olympiad will take place on April 22, 2023 at 10:00.
Rules of participation
Students of higher educational institutions of medical direction are invited to participate in the Olympiad. 2 students with Russian or Kyrgyz language of instruction and 2 students with English language of instruction, under the guidance of one teacher, can participate from each university.
The application for participation in the Olympiad (Appendix 1) must be submitted electronically by e-mail to: veneramuratalieva@adam.edu.kg until March 20, 2022.
The Olympiad will consist of 3 rounds:
First round: experimental (optico)
Duration: 60 minutes
Second round: theoretical (hemodynamics task)
Duration: 30 minutes
Third round: testing (biomechanics and thermodynamics)
Number of questions: 30
Duration: 30 minutes
Summing up the results of the Olympiad
The number of winners is determined by the organizing committee of the Olympiad. The winners and prize-winners are determined by the jury based on the number of points scored, which are formed based on the results of the Olympiad tasks for each round. All participants will be awarded certificates of participants. The winners of the Olympiad are awarded with diplomas of the 1st degree, prize-winners with diplomas of the 2nd and 3rd degrees, participants with certificates.
The winners will be awarded at the closing of the Intercollegiate Student Olympiad on Aprel 1, 2023.
